In a couple of weeks, I’ll be going along to <a href="http://www propecia dosage.britmumslive.com/”>BritMums Live 2016 – an all-day blogging conference that ends with the Brilliance In Blogging Awards, in which There We Go is a finalist for Fresh Voice (eeeek!). As I panic over what the hell to wear, who on earth I’m going to hang around with and whether or not I’m going to get told off for being late, I can’t help but feel like it’s my first day back at school. So, I made a video to introduce myself and prove that not everyone has got the hang of this vlogging malarkey just yet (the only benefit of me cutting off the top of my head throughout? You can’t see my roots).

Is this my first blogging event? No – I’ve been to a couple for work, but always as the brand rather than the blogger. It is my first time up for an award though!
I will be wearing… The slightly odd green Boden dress in my video, with a tan faux-leather jacket over the top and flat sandals if it’s not raining. I’ll pack some heels for the evening on account of the fact I’m about 3ft tall…
What I hope to gain from #BML16: I’d love to come away not feeling like a massive loser who’s spent the day wandering around on my own. I’d also like to get a selfie with The Unmumsy Mum, if she’s there. Is it too uncool to say that?
My tips for a great conference: Don’t panic. I’m just as freaked out as you are.

Hi Katie. Loved your I’m Going intro! How clever to include a video. One day I will feel brave enough to do a Vlog. Well I’m a total newbie to BML and don’t know anyone (yet) so if you fancy meeting up at the start or during one of the breaks let me know! Staying optimistic and hoping lots of nice people will talk to me as they’ll notice me hanging out on my own a lot 😉

I love the video, sadly I am having to escort my 5 year old and my grandmother to Butlins so will not get to meet everyone at BML …half of me is reassured that I am not because the idea of networking makes me nauseous..I would probably be having anxious dreams by now..dont go to bed and have some wine :)There something not the same as school…it is ok to drink!
