There We Go is a family travel blog. I’m a freelance travel editor and copywriter (more about that on my professional website), and my other half works in the UK travel industry. Factor in our two kids and we do a fair bit of travelling with children.
That said, we’re by no means globetrotters, and we’re also huge fans of holidaying here in the UK. So for every travel post there’s another one about day-to-day life as a mum – be it a poem about trying to get out of the house, or a rant about the pressures of parenthood.
STATS
The blog receives up to 60,000 page views per month, and has been featured by CBeebies, The Huffington Post (UK, Italy and Germany editions), and Mumsnet.
AWARDS
After less than a year of blogging, There We Go made it to the finals of two of the UK’s biggest parent-blogging awards in 2016. More than 50,000 votes were cast in the BritMums Brilliance In Blogging (BiBs) Awards, and There We Go was whittled down to the final 5 in the Fresh Voice category.
The Tots 100 Mum And Dad (MAD) Blog Awards took place in September 2016 and, from 8,000 blogs nominated, There We Go made it down to the final 6 for the title of Best New Blog.
PRESS
The blog’s awards nominations were featured in the Bedfordshire Times & Citizen and online at Bedford Today, as well as on the Tots100 website. I’ve also provided expert family travel tips for Mother & Baby magazine and the PacaPod blog.
BRANDS
I love working with brands, but I’m picky! If you think you’ve got something that would be a great fit for There We Go, please drop me a line by emailing hello@therewegoblog.com and we can chat more about it. All sponsored posts, review products or affiliate links are marked as such within the post.
